Songwriting Workshops

A lot of people through the years have asked me how it is to write songs since I have written many songs and hits throughout 4 decades. I have been wanting to really do a workshop on it and pass on what I know.

Tapping the Creative Universe Workshops

Do you find yourself stuck in between careers, dreams, loves, and can’t even seem to identify the source of the gridlock in your life? Have you lost the zest for living? Do you feel trapped in routine?

Photography Workshops

I offer  quite a menu of Photography workshops from basic photography where the students learn all the functions  of their equipment to shoot with confidence  and consistency,  to studio sessions with the aim of teaching students how to do magazine, glamour and nude photography.

A lot of people through the years have asked me how it is to write songs since I have written many songs and hits throughout 4 decades. I have been wanting to really do a workshop on it.

This is a fun, challenging workshop where the student is informed and enlightened about the elements that comprise good songs and songwriting itself from melodic, structure, lyrics, arrangements, etc.. Classic hits are listened to from all genres and styles of music. The ‘hook’ is discussed and applied at length. Most importantly, the student is challenged to actually write songs during the two day 12 hour workshop.

I have done 29 albums in my life as singer-songwriter and occasional arranger with APO Hiking Society. I have done many other albums as producer for other big artists, and have made many certified critical and commercial hits. I would love to share what I know with anyone who is willing to learn.

When: June 11, 2011
